The Police Commission for the village of Glenn Carbon will hold a special meeting 10:45 a.m. Wednesday to extend the temporary promotion of Ryan Smith as sergeant for 60 days.
The commission will also discuss testing for a lateral process and listen to public comments.
The meeting will take place in the Community Room at the Glen Carbon Public Safety Facility, which is located at 149 N. Main St.
