The Grants Committee for Madison County met Feb. 29 to assess a host of new business topics.
Bills and purchase requested included employment and training close-out costs of the AT&T contract at the Old Alton location.
The committee also looked at four resolutions: The first authorized a park and recreational loan to the city of Wood River, while the second authorized the 2016 round of parks and recreation grants. The third covered a park and recreation loan to the village of Hamel, and the fourth was for a FY 2016 green schools environmental grant.
The committee also gave updates on employment and training and heard from the MCCD administrator.
