Alton's Park and Recreation Commission gathered Tuesday to discuss a host of citizens’ requests.
Requests considered included the Family Fun Day Picnic at Killion Park, the Wives of Police Officers 5k, the Friends of the '60s/Alton Black Alumni Association, the Cross Country event at Rock Springs, the Class of ’76 reunion and the Salvation Army Mud Volleyball event.
The commission also examined financial reports, heard from the recreation supervisor and executive director and listened to questions from commissioners as well as comments from the public.
