The Glen Carbon village board met at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 24.
Members called the meeting to consider and approve previous meeting minutes.
The Village of Glen Carbon is governed by a mayor and village board who are elected at large by the people of the village. Both parties acting together comprise the Governing Body. All Governing Body members serve four-year terms.
Being the elected representative of the people, the Governing Body adopts all ordinances and resolutions, in addition to determining general goals and policies.
