Alton Park and Recreation Commission meets to consider requests

The Alton Park and Recreation Commission met at 4 p.m. yesterday, July 19.

The Alton Park and Recreation Commission oversees 16 city parks that include more than 1,400 acres of park space, 12 ball fields, 19 soccer fields, 14 tennis courts, 14 buildings and 19 playgrounds. Meetings are held at 4 p.m. every third Tuesday at the community’s Public Works Building, 2 Emma Kaus Lane.
