Alderman Simpson called the Finance Committee Meeting to order.
Simpson stated that first is the non union salaries (mayor appointed) salaries.
Motion by Simpson, second by McDowell to approve an Ordinance establishing May 1, 2016-April 30, 2017 salaries, for appointed city officials who are not members of collective bargaining units. All Voted Yes. Motion Carried.
Simpson stated next is the Wetland Agreement.
Simpson turned over to Juneau to explain the Wetland Agreement.
Juneau explained the proposal to the council and stated that city will be paid $55,235.00 for the land.
Motion by Simpson, second by McDowell to approve the Resolution to approve an Agreement for proposed perpetual care of Wetlands. All Voted Yes. Motion Carried.
Simpson stated that next is the SIUE agreement for an internship, this was put into the budget of Economic Development Directors Amos budget.
Motion by Simpson, second by Petrillo to approve a Resolution to authorize execution of an Agreement with SIUE concerning internship. All Voted Yes. Motion Carried.
Motion by Simpson, second by Jackstadt to adjourn the Finance Committee Minutes. All Voted Yes. Motion Carried.
