Proceeding of The East St. Louis Special Council Meeting was held on Thursday/April 25, 2017 at 12:00 noon., Second Floor of the East St. Louis Municipal Building, 301 River Park Drive, East St. Louis, Illinois.

Mayor Emeka Jackson-Hicks Presiding

The meeting was called to order with prayer by The City of East St. Louis City Manager Courney R. Logan

Preserat: Councilmen: Mosley, Hamilton-Dean, Absent: Councilmen: Eastern III, Greenwood Mayor Emeka Jackson-Hicks/Present

Established a quorum at 12:04 p.m.

Presentation Of An Ordinance For The Mayor and City Council Of The City Of East St. Louis To Award Bid # 17-03 For Various Streets To Gleeson Asphalt Inc.

Presentation Ofan Resolution For The Mayor and City Council Of The City of East St. Louis Accepting A Grant From The Illinois Housing Development Authority's Abandoned Residential Property Municipal Relief Program

A motion was made by Mayor Emeka Jackson-Hicks and seconded by Councilwomen June Hamilton-Dean to approve. Upon the question of the motion Mayor Emeka Jackson-Hicks called for the roll call vote.

Aye: Councilmen: Mosley Sr., Hamilton-Dean, Nay: Councilmen: None Absent: Councilmen: Eastern III, Greenwood

A motion was made by Councilmen Robert Eastern III and seconded by Councilwoman June Hamilton-Dean to adjourn. Upon the question of the motion Mayor Emeka Jackson-Hicks called for the roll call vote.

Nay: Councilmen: None
