City of Alton Civil Service Commission met June 21.

A regular meeting of the Civil Service Commission was called to order at 8:15am on June 21, 2017, at
Alton City Hall, 101 E. Third Street, Alton, Illinois.
Members Present: Vicki Searles-Williams, Terry Bristow, Jonas Janek
Members Absent: None
Staff Present: Civil Service Attorney Patrick King
Guests Present: None
A motion was made by Mr. Bristow and seconded by Ms. Williams to approve the minutes of the
regular meeting on June 7, 2017. Motion passed.
Resignation form from Derek Vetter was signed.
Two Letters of Reprimand from the Police Department were discussed.
Four interviews were held for the Sewer Maintenance Operations Supervisor position.
With no further business, Ms. Williams made a motion, seconded by Mr. Janek to adjourn at 9:10am.
Motion passed.
