City of Alton Civil Service Commission met August 04.
Here is the minutes as provided by the commission:
A regular meeting of the Civil Service Commission was called to order at 8:15am on August 4, 2017, at
Alton City Hall, 101 E. Third Street, Alton, Illinois.
Members Present: Terry Bristow, Vicki Searles-Williams
Members Absent: Jonas Janek
Staff Present: Civil Service Attorney Patrick King
Guests Present:
A motion was made by Mr. Bristow and seconded by Ms. Williams to approve the minutes of the
regular meeting on August 2, 2017 and July 19, 2017. Motion passed.
Retirement form for Captain Scott Golike was signed.
Four requisitions were signed for Firefighter positions.
Three interviews were held for the Firefighter position, one is being scheduled for a special meeting next
week. Chief Examiner Lomelino will get this scheduled and contact the commissioners accordingly.
With no further business, Ms. Williams made a motion, seconded by Mr. Bristow to adjourn at 8:50am.
Motion passed.
