The calls in Smithton included 28 fires - 10 structure fires, six vehicle fires and 12 other fires.
In all, the department saw $402,000 in fire loss - or about $14,357 per fire.
The department also received 17 false calls.
Two fire service members were injured in fire-related incidents.
