Collinsville's Louer Facility Planning list of area's largest women-owned businesses

Jane Louer's company has gone from a one-person office to being named one of the area’s largest women-owned businesses, according to the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce.

The St. Louis Business Journal rankings, which were based on revenue for last year, include Collinsville's Louer Facility Planning Inc., which had revenues of $6.5 million in 2016.

“We’re thrilled to have secured a spot on the St. Louis Business Journal’s list recognizing the largest women-owned businesses in all industries,” Louer, who is president of the firm that she started in 1996. “We appreciate this honor and are especially proud to represent women business owners.”

After spending 20 years in the design/build construction field, Louer her company began as a one-person office, expanding staff within the first three months of operation, according to the company website.

Louer Facility Planning has been in Collinsville since 2007. The office is designed to serve as a working showroom, allowing clients to see the look and functionality of products, according to the company website. It features Haworth products including full height moveable walls and a range of seating.

Louer’s clients are corporate, financial, educational, government and health care facilities. The primary market area for Louer Facility Planning is the St. Louis Metro East, according to its website. The company also serves clients in the St. Louis area and across the United States.

The St. Louis Business Journal previously honored Louer as one of the Top 10 Largest Office Furniture Companies in the region.
