Edwardsville's Schmidt has four receiving yards in William Jewell Cardinals football loss

Edwardsville graduate Hayden Schmidt had four receiving yards and one reception in William Jewell Cardinals football's 54-28 loss Sept. 23 to the McKendree Bearcats at Grenne Stadium.

Schmidt is a 6-3, 210 pound junior tight end from Glen Carbon.
