130-year-old Belleville business has a new name

Ribbon

A 130-year-old Belleville business recently celebrated its rebranding with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The business with the new name – Egyptian Workspace Partners – has supplied everything from pens and staplers to paper cups and file cabinets for clients in government, education, health care and other industries in Illinois and Missouri since 1880, the O’Fallon-Shiloh Chamber of Commerce said in a release.

President Kevin Baltz said in the release that the unification of Egyptian Stationers and Egyptian Business Furniture under the new mantle of Egyptian Workspace Partners (EWP) would bring “more convenience and efficiency than ever before.”

EWP supplies furniture, carpeting and cubicle walls for offices, as well as help with supplying break rooms, safety and medical equipment, office technology and more, according to the release.
