Alton Historical Commission met Nov. 7.

Here is the minutes provided by the Commission:

MEMBERS PRESENT: Doug Bader, Chase Green, Monica Mason, Diane Plummer, Charlene Walker

MEMBERS NOT PRESENT: Mary Anderson and Jonas Janek

OTHERS PRESENT: Lexa Needham, Brian Harshany with Renewal by Anderson, Mark Antieau, Nancee Magilson, Terry Sharp, Deanna Barnes, Deputy Director of Building & Zoning, Sam Shaw, Building Inspector, Becky Brunaugh, Secretary

The meeting of the Alton Historic Commission was called to order by Doug Bader at 8:01 a.m. on November 7, 2017.

Monica Mason moved to accept the minutes for October 17, 2017 as presented. Diane Plummer seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.

APPLICATIONS:

Lexa Needham and Brian Harshany presented the application for 312 E. 11th St. They are proposing ten replacement windows around the sides and back of the second floor of the home. Mullions will be used.

Diane Plummer moved to accept the application as presented. Chase Green Seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.

OTHER BUSINESS:

Mark Antieau and Nancee Magilson appeared before the commission to discuss the possibility of demolishing the structure at 310 Carroll.

There being no further discussion or comments from the public, the meeting was adjourned at 8:31 a.m.
