Alton Amphitheater Commission met March 19.

Members Present: Robert Stephan, Brett Stawar. Michelle Brooks,
Karen Baker-Brncic and Ruth Brimingham
Members Absent: Jay Hollinger and Dan Herkert
Ex-Officio and Guests: Cameo Foster, Kirby Ontis, Jarvis Swope and Michael
Haynes
Robert Stephan called the meeting of the Alton Amphitheater Commission to order at
4:33 P.M., on March 19, 2018, at Alton City Hall, 101 E. Third Street, Alton, Illinois.
Michelle Brooks made a motion to approve minutes from the last meeting, Karen BakerBrncic
2nd the motion. Motion carried.
Jarvis Swope will cover the bills for I-pads.
Robert Stephan made a motion to layover Liquor Liability insurance $1,389.00, Liquor
License $614.00 / or special use, SESA $1,733.10 (pending explanation-Michelle), JL
Nash $3460.00 (payment approved pending credit - Rob), Michelle Brooks seconded,
Motion carried.
Michelle Brooks made a motion to allow Michael Haynes to purchase up to 12 folding
tables at a cost of approximately $50.00 per table and the amphitheater will cover the
cost, Brett Stawar seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Robert Stephan made a motion to deny the Wedding Reception, William Grote, June 9,
2018 5:00-9:30pm, Michelle Brooks seconded the motion. Motion Carried
Michelle Brooks made a motion to approve the Plunkett Wedding 9/2/18, 7:00 – 9:00,
September 22nd, wedding requests, 1st request, Rushing @ 5:00pm, 2nd request Humiston
@ 5:00 PM, Karen Brncic-Baker seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Michelle Brooks made a motion to layover Giving it all for guns margarita run 5k,
10/13/18/ Noon-6:00pm, International SUN.day STEM 6/17/18 10:00am – 5:00pm until
they attend an amphitheater meeting, Ruth Birmingham seconded the motion. Motion
Carried.
Michelle Brooks made a motion to layover Sounds & Lights, Karen Baker-Brncic
seconded the motion, Motion Carried.
Next meeting members will discuss how vendors are being handled.
Michelle Brooks made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 5:15 p.m. Brett seconded the
motion. Motion carried.
