City of East St.Louis Public Works Committee met January 4.

The East St. Louis Regular Scheduled City Council Committee on Public Works was called to order by Councilman Roy Mosley Sr. with Mayor Hicks in the Chair in the Council Chambers (2nd Floor) of the Municipal Building located at 301 River Park Drive, East St. Louis, Illinois on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 6:06 p.m. Mayor Hicks opened the meeting with prayer.


Item 1.          Roll Call

Present:             Councilman Roy Mosley Sr.

                           Councilman Roy Mickens

                           Councilman Robert Eastern III

                           Councilman Charles Powell III

                           Mayor Emeka Jackson-Hicks

Item 2.          Presentation of the Minutes from the Meeting Held on Thursday, December 7, 2017

Motioned by Councilman Eastern and seconded by Councilman Mosley to approve the minutes.

Ayes:                  Mosley, Mickens, Eastern, Powell

Nays:                  None

Mayor Jackson-Hicks voted aye

Approved.

Item 3.          Presentation of Public Works Department Reports

Item 5.          Presentation of Ordinances and Resolutio

Motioned by Councilman Mosley and seconded by Councilman Eastern to approve agenda items as follows:

     A.RESOLUTION FOR THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL TO PETITION THE ILLINOIS COMMERCE COMMISSION FOR AN ORDER AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF AN AT-GRADE PEDESTRIAN CROSSING WITH NORFOLK SOUTHERN RAILROAD

     B.RESOLUTION FOR THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL TO PETITION THE ILLINOIS COMMERCE COMMISSION FOR AN ORDER AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF AN AT-GRADE PEDESTRIAN CROSSING WITH TERMINAL RAILROAD

     C.RESOLUTION FOR THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN ST. CLAIR COUNTY AND THE CITY OF EAST ST. LOUIS FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PUBLIC FACILITY ACTIVITIES PROGRAM FOR THE YEAR 2017 WITH THE PROJECT TITLE STREET IMPROVEMENT
