Analysis: O'Fallon pays $3.32 for every $1 pensioners contribute to O'fallon Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 76.9 percent of the $1,439,160 the O'fallon Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.32 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Metro East Sun analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, O'Fallon contributed $1,106,081 to the fund, which saw a $10,143 decrease in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $333,079, or 23.1 percent, in 2016.
