Alton Appearance Review Commission met April 11.

Members Present: Debbie Schuneman, Mike Doucleff, Barb Gearing, Gen Gearing, Nick Moehn
Members Not Present: Margaret Hopkins, Kim Lane
Others Present: Eric Smith, Sam Shaw, Building Inspector
A meeting of the Appearance review Commission was held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.
Chairwoman Debbie Schuneman called the meeting to order at 8:05 a.m.
Nick Moehn made a motion to approve the minutes for March 28 as presented. Gen Gearing seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
New Business:
Eric Smith with Decaro’s presented the sign application for 602 E. Third St. The oval sign is metal with vinyl lettering, measuring 2’ x 6’.
Barb Gearing made a motion to accept the sign application as presented. Mike Doucleff seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
Other Business:
There was a discussion concerning the sign at Zac’s Hookah Lounge. The awning has not been removed as approved, and the sign is not located as presented. Sam Shaw will also check on some wiring.
There was a discussion concerning The Cave.
There being no further discussion or comment from the public, the meeting was adjourned at 8:16 a.m.
