Notice is hereby given by the City Plan Commission of the City of Alton, Illinois, that a

public hearing will be held in the Alton City Council Chambers, 101 E. Third Street,

Alton, Illinois, on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, 1:15 p.m. to consider the following matter:

      Grady Wahlquist, for Verizon Wireless, petitioned the Alton City Council for a

         special use permit at the property identified by permanent parcel number 23-1-08-

         04-01-101-005.005, Section 4, Township 5 North, Range 9 West of the Third

         Principal Meridian, also known as 3135 Fosterburg Road, Alton, Illinois, for a

         communication tower.
