Collinsville Community Unit School District 10 issued the following announcement on May 25.
The Kahok Boys and Girls Bowling Teams have earned bids to the 2018 United States High School Bowling National Championships.
Teams are invited based on finishes in state finals. This year the national tournament will be held on June 23-25 at St. Clair Bowl in Fairview Heights.
The bowlers competing are:
Boys – Major Douglas, Fred Barger, Noah Short, Alex Dall, Eli Hay, Ryan Warner Ethan Gardner and Nathan Hay.
Girls – Hailey Gardner, Cristle Buckman, Tyme Sampson, Mackenzie Hunter, Caitlyn Ennis, Brandy Stewart and Ashleigh Thilman.
The competition will include bowlers from throughout the country including Florida, New York, Texas, Kentucky, Indiana, Hawaii, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida and Tennessee.
