Here is the minutes provided by the Council:

Mayor Eckert explained the disaster procedures. Mayor Eckert reminded anyone speaking this evening to step up to a microphone because the meetings are being taped and posted the next day on the website.

Mayor Eckert requested City Clerk Meyer to call roll. Members present on roll call: Alderman Hazel, Alderman Kinsella, Alderwoman Pusa, Alderman Randle, Alderman Tyler, Alderman Anthony, Alderman Ovian, Alderwoman Schaefer, Alderman Dintelman, Alderman Gaa, Alderwoman Stiehl, Alderman Weygandt, Alderman Elmore, Alderman Wigginton and Alderman Barfield.

Alderman Wigginton made a motion seconded by Alderwoman Stiehl to approve City Council Meeting Minutes and City Council Executive Session Minutes- May 7, 2018.

Claims, Payroll, And Disbursements:

Alderwoman Pusa made a motion seconded by Alderman Kinsella to approve claims and disbursements in the amount of$1, 765,750.73 and payroll in the amount of$1, 088,181. 98.

Parks Board:

Alderman Dintelman made a motion seconded by Alderwoman Schaefer to approve a Facility Use Agreement with Little Knights Football Club to use Jaycees Park, 750 West H Street, Belleville, Illinois July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2023.

Alderman Wigginton made a motion seconded by Alderman Gaa to approve the West Main Streetscape engineering services agreement redesign supplement for Kaskaskia Engineering Group, LLC in the amount of$126,985. 00. ( TIF 3)

Alderman Tyler referred to a letter from KEG regarding the study for sidewalks and asked the year it was approved; City Engineer, Tim Gregowicz, stated 2014; Alderman Tyler stated he spoke with Michael Brand, IDOT, and was advised it was changed from 3 foot to 4 foot in 2012. If this was changed in 2012 this should be considered an error. City Engineer, Tim Gregowicz, stated they implemented in 2014 and they approved the project development report.

Labor Day Parade, Monday, 9/3/2018-

Request from the Southwestern Illinois Central Labor Council to hold the Annual Labor Day Parade, September 3, 2018, 10:00am. Street closure request: parade line-up, 8: 00am to 11: 00am South 1st Street from south side of West Washington to north side of West Monroe and South 2nd Street from south side of West Washington to north side of West Monroe( including cross streets). City services requested: " no parking" signs, barricades, clean-up of parade route and Police and Street Department personnel.

Labor Day Picnic, Monday, 9/3/2018-

Request from the Southwestern Illinois Central Labor Council to hold the Annual Labor Day Picnic, September 3, 2018, 10:00am to 4:00pm at Hough Park. City services requested: picnic tables, water, electric, trash toters and Police personnel.

Resolution 3334-2018:

A Resolution requesting permission from IDOT to close Route 159 for the Labor Day Parade - September 3, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to11: 30 a.m.

Resolution 3335-2018:

A Resolution amending the Annual Budget of the City of Belleville of Belleville, Illinois for the Fiscal Year Beginning on the First day of May 2018 and ending on the 30th day of April 2019.
