Rosewood Heights Fire Protection District responded to 30 calls in 2017 - 53.1 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Rosewood Heights included 20 fires - eight structure fires, one vehicle fire and 11 other fires.

In all, the department saw $16,100 in fire loss - or about $805 per fire.

The department also received 10 false calls.

The Rosewood Heights Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $304,767 in 2017.
