Oconee Fire Department responded to 21 calls in 2017 - 320 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.
The calls in Oconee included 18 fires - nine structure fires, three vehicle fires and six other fires.
In all, the department saw $15,100 in fire loss - or about $839 per fire.
The department also received three false calls.
