Northwest Station Clair County Fire Protection District responded to 110 calls in 2017 - 0.9 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Northwest Clair County included 69 fires - 50 structure fires, three vehicle fires and 16 other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $95,000 in fire loss - or about $1,377 per fire.

The department also received 40 false calls.

The calls resulted in one civilian fire-related injury.
