Collinsville Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Event Description:

Come to the Collinsville Library on Saturday, July 14th at 3pm for a Poké-everything event! There

will be Pokken Tournament on the Nintendo Switch, special activities for Pokémon Go, a Pokémon

scavenger hunt, and Poké themed carnival games. Bring your Pokémon cards and games. Meet

other trainers and relish in the Pokémania!

The Collinsville Library is located at 408 West Main Street in Collinsville. The Fairmont

City Library is located at 4444 Collinsville Road in Fairmont City. Both centers are

operated by the Mississippi Valley Library District.

The Mississippi Valley Library District has served the Collinsville area since 1915 and

the Fairmont City area since 2000. In addition to books, movies, and music, the Library

District provides free access to e-books, e-magazines, video games, and streaming

music and movies. The Library District is a member of the Illinois Heartland Library

System and the SHARE resource sharing consortium, which connects over 400 libraries
