Edwardsville Community Unit School District 7 issued the following announcement on July 16.
REMINDER: The District uses School Messenger to provide timely communication to parents and staff members via phone calls, text messages, and emails.
To comply with wireless carrier requirements and protect against unsolicited text messages, parents must “opt-in” to receive important information from the district via our SMS text messaging service.
To “opt-in,” send a text message of “Y” or “Yes” to our school’s short code number, 67587. You can also opt out of these messages at any time, by replying “Stop” to any district message.
*You will only need to "opt-in" one time; this is not something that needs to be repeated annually.
