Edwardsville Mayor Hal Patton recently spent time admiring some of his most impressive work.
“Leon Corlew Park has some new art,” Patton recently posted on Facebook. “It has been so great to see the transformation of this park during my time as Mayor of Edwardsville. Be sure to get out and enjoy all this park has to offer before the summer ends.”
Patton is now hoping to bring that same magic touch to Springfield. He is running as a third-party candidate against Democrat Rachelle Aud Crowe in the 56th Senate District on a platform of economic development and job creation.

The 56th Senate District includes all or parts of Edwardsville, Alton, Glen Carbon, Bethalto, Caseyville, Collinsville, East Alton, Elsah, Fairview Heights, Hartford, Godfrey, Granite City, Madison, Maryville, O’Fallon, Pontoon Beach, Roxana, Shiloh, South Roxana, Swansea and Wood River.
