Village of Bethalto issued the following announcement on Sept. 13.
The Village of Bethalto will begin flushing its entire water system starting October 1, 2018 and continuing through the month of October.
Customers can expect stained water and periods of low pressure throughout this process.
During periods of discoloration, you may want to refrain from laundering clothes.
