Signal Hill School District 181 issued the following announcement on Sept. 28.
As you know, Signal Hill ended its latchkey program this year. Though the program had very low attendance, we recognize that some SHS families need after-school childcare for their young children. There may also be families who would like more enrichment and educational activities for their children after school.
We are asking each SHS family to complete a survey to see if Signal Hill should consider developing a new after-school program. If we do start a new latchkey program, we’d like to know what the program should include to be most beneficial to the Signal Hill community and each family.
Please complete the following survey and submit one response by October 12th.
Paper copies of this survey are available. Please contact the school office at 618-397-0325 if you need one sent home with your child.
