Report: St. Libory spent $7,886 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at St. Libory Consolidated School District 30 is up 7.1 percent from five years ago, according to a Metro East Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Saint Clair County school district spent $7,363 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $7,886 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 89 to 75.

St. Libory's spending in 2017-18 was 40.9 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
