SIHF Healthcare issued the following announcement on Feb. 6.
SIHF Healthcare announced Aristides Garces, MD, is now seeing Family Medicine patients full-time at 1275 Hawthorn Road in Salem.
Previously, Garces had been seeing patients in Salem on a part-time schedule as he traveled back and forth between SIHF Healthcare in Belleville, Ill. and the location in Salem.
“Being full-time in Salem now allows me to see my patients regularly and more often,” says Garces. “I’ll have more of an opportunity to learn about their hobbies, where they work, and their family history - all of which will help me have better discussions with them to uncover possible medical concerns.”
“Dr. Garces has always been committed to providing the best possible patient-care,” says Beth Rose, health center manager for SIHF Healthcare in Salem. “He goes above and beyond for every patient of his and we are thrilled to have him in Salem full-time.
Dr. Garces is currently accepting new Family Medicine patients of all ages in Salem. Appointments may be scheduled by calling (618) 548-4545.
