Collinsville Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on March 14.
I am writing to you on behalf of The Collinsville Raiders Football and Cheer in regards to a sponsorship opportunity for the 2019 season. This year we will be selling advertising banners to line the fences of our field.
The Collinsville Raiders were founded in 1970. The organization was started with only one football team. Shortly after they started, the Collinsville Jaycees took them under their wing and the Collinsville Raiders became known as the Collinsville Jaycee Raiders. In the early 1980's, the two organizations again separated and the Raiders became the organization they are today. Throughout the past 40 years, we are proud to say that we have grown and expanded to our present numbers of over 200 participants annually, which make up our football and cheerleading squads.
The purpose of our program is to teach young people the skills and fundamentals of tackle football and cheerleading, but more importantly, to emphasize good health, self-discipline, teamwork, and self-respect, as well as respect for others. These are lessons that will serve them well all through life.
Games are played every Saturday and Sunday from the second Saturday in August to the middle of November at our home field The Cory Wilson Memorial Field and also at away games in neighboring communities. We encourage each of you and your friends to come and support the hard work the players, cheerleaders, and coaching staffs put forth for their teams.
Since we are a self-supporting, not-for-profit organization, we have various fundraisers throughout the year. We need everyone's support and participation to make these successful all year long
We would like to invite you to support this important cause by becoming a sponsor. This is an excellent opportunity for your business to be featured on the fences of our field to promote your business
The sponsorship opportunities are listed below; please see the attached sheets for more details:
● $200- Bronze sponsor- 2’x3’ Banner along sideline
● $300- Silver sponsor- 3’x4’ Banner near 50 yard line
● $500- Gold sponsor- 3’x6’ Banner in end zone plus announcement before game and
during half time
● If you do not have a minimum 3000x3000 pixel logo in a vector format (.eps, .ai,
.pdf) there will be a $75 artwork fee. If you just want font added to a banner there
will be no fee
If you are interested, please complete and return the enclosed sponsorship form by 7/1/2019, then
retain a copy as a receipt for your records
