state senator 57th district candidate James F Clayborne, Jr returns $1,600 contribution from Mt Sinai Baptist Church

The campaign committee of state senator 57th district candidate James F Clayborne, Jr, Friends of Clayborne, returned a $1,600 contribution from Mt Sinai Baptist Church on July 9, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Mt Sinai Baptist Church has not made any other contributions to James F Clayborne, Jr in the past 12 months.
