East St. Louis home prices fall in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in East St. Louis fell by $500 while total sales increased by 18.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 32 homes sold, with a median sale price of $9,500 - a 5% decrease over the $10,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 27 homes sold in East St. Louis in the second quarter of 2016.
