Hartford home prices unchanged in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in Hartford was unchanged while total sales decreased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $50,000. There were seven homes sold in Hartford in the fourth quarter of 2016, and the median sales price for the period was also $50,000.

The median sales tax in Hartford for 2017 was $789.30. In 2016, the median sales tax was $726.60. This marks an increase of 8.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.6%.
