Cahokia home prices fall in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Cahokia fell by $1,750 while total sales decreased by 11.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 67 homes sold, with a median sale price of $20,000 - a 8% decrease over the $21,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 76 homes sold in Cahokia in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Cahokia for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,471.10, approximately 7.4% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
