Glen Carbon home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Glen Carbon rose by $4,250 while total sales decreased by 17.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 43 homes sold, with a median sale price of $197,500 - a 2.2% increase over the $193,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 52 homes sold in Glen Carbon in the fourth quarter of 2017.
