New Douglas home prices rise in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in New Douglas rose by $115,100 while total sales decreased by 57.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $168,000 - a 217.6% increase over the $52,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in New Douglas in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in New Douglas for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,851, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
