Wood River home prices fall in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Wood River fell by $3,000 while total sales decreased by 11.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 78 homes sold, with a median sale price of $61,750 - a 4.6% decrease over the $64,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 88 homes sold in Wood River in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Wood River for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,574, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
