East St. Louis home prices rise in March 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2018 in East St. Louis rose by $1,450 while total sales increased by 140%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2018, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $10,450 - a 16.1% increase over the $9,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in East St. Louis in March 2017.

The median sales tax in East St. Louis for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $543, approximately 5.2% of the median home sale price for March 2018.
