Q3 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Calhoun County?

There were three offenders released on parole during the third quarter that live in Calhoun County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Metro East Sun.

The data shows that two men and one woman were released in Calhoun County. The median age of the parolees was 40. The youngest parolee was a 37-year-old man sentenced for a financial crime or fraud in 2017, and the oldest was a 43-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2015.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Jennifer Camden. She was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2015 when she was 40 years old. She is now 43.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the third quarter in each Calhoun County municipality.
