The data shows that the four released offenders living in the Dupo zip code were men. The median age of the parolees was 34. The youngest parolee was a 24-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2017, and the oldest was a 55-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was John Ball. He was convicted of a property crime in 2010, when he was 17 years old. He is now 26.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
