Central School District #104 Board of Education met July 1.
Here is the minutes provided by the board:
Sarah Svoboda called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm.
Roll Call: Sarah Svoboda – present, Laurie Burian – absent, DeWonda McComb – present, Andrea Mouser – present, David Swaney – present, George Vineyard – absent, Christina Ward – present. Also present were Superintendent Dawn Elser, Special Education Coordinator Cassy Shelton and Board Secretary Clare Rodenberg.
Visitors: Derek Morgan, Matt Lauer and Josh Jerashen. Public Comments: None at this time.
Andrea Mouser made a motion to place the following items on the Consent Agenda. Seconded by David Swaney. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
July Bill List Addendums
Andrea Mouser made a motion to approve the Consent Agenda.
Seconded by DeWonda McComb. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
DeWonda McComb made a motion to approve the transfer of $163,750 from the working cash fund to the capital projects fund for the purpose of purchasing the modular buildings.
Seconded by Andrea Mouser. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
Andrea Mouser made a motion to move to Executive Session at 6:02 pm. Seconded by DeWonda McComb. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
Board returned to Open Session at 6:59 pm.
Andrea Mouser made a motion to approve the termination of custodian Matt Lauer. Seconded by DeWonda McComb. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
Andrea Mouser made a motion to approve the termination of custodian Josh Jerashen. Seconded by Christina Ward. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
Andrea Mouser made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:00 pm.
Seconded by David Swaney. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
