City of Alton Civil Service Commission met July 3.

A regular meeting of the Civil Service Commission was called to order at 8:15am on July 3, 2019 at Alton City Hall, 101 E. Third Street, Alton, Illinois.
Members Present: Michael Drake, Vicki Searles-Williams
Members Absent: Terry Bristow
Staff Present: Civil Service Attorney Patrick King
Guests Present: None
A motion was made by Mr. Drake and seconded by Ms. Williams to approve the minutes of the regular meeting on June 19, 2019. Motion passed.
Requisition for Police Officer was signed.
Requisition for Records Clerk was signed.
Removal of Discipline from the Fire Department was discussed.
Notice of Suspension for Jailer Nathan Scott was discussed.
Ms. Williams made a motion to vote to approve the background of Police Officer applicant Lindsey Snyder, seconded by Mr. Drake.

With no further business, Mr. Drake made a motion, seconded by Ms. Williams to adjourn at 8:20am. Motion passed.
