1. Plan commission recommended a sign request in the C-2 Historic District for 123 West St. Louis dba Healing Naturally. The sign follows all the criteria specified in the Code of Ordinance, Chapter 36, Article IV, Division 3 (C-2 Historic Shopping District)

Committee Reports:

Streets/Alleys – MEET Sept 3, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.

1. Committee recommends approving the McKendree New Student Move-in Day as requested for August 21 from 7:00 A.M. to 10:00 a.m.

2. Committee recommends Lions Club Annual Candy Day Oct 11th and 12th at the stoplight during the hours of 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday and the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Finance – MEET August 19, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.

1. Present Chief Roth’s request to purchase laptop computers.

2. Present proposal for the use of property on 124 W St Louis St.

3. Review the Budget Comparison Analysis report for July 2019.

Ordinance – MEET Sept 3, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.

1. Present for discussion and/or approval an ordinance INCREASING THE NUMBER OF

MEMBERS ON EACH STANDING COMMITTEE FROM FOUR TO FIVE BY INCLUDING THE

MAYOR AS A MEMBER OF EACH STANDING COMMITTEE.

2. Recommendation of proposed mobile food vendor ordinance components.

Water/Sewer – MEET August 19, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.

Cemetery – MEET Sept 3, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.

Health/Safety – MEET August 19, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.

Public Property – MEET Sept 3, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.

1. Present for approval an ordinance DECLARING A CITY-OWNED MOTOR VEHICLE – NAMELY, A 2007 FORD CROWN VICTORIA 4-DOOR FORMERLY USED BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT – TO BE SURPLUS PROPERTY, AND AUTHORIZING THE SALE THEREOF

2. Committee recommends purchase of a projector screen for chambers regarding presentations.

3. Committee update on the new website.

4. More discussion needs to be done regarding the proposed Parking Lot at 124 W. St. Louis St.; primarily where funds might be found in the current budget.
