Edwardsville Community Unit School District 7 Board of Education met Oct. 15.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The Board of Education of Community Unit School District #7, Madison County, Edwardsville, Illinois, met in executive session at Woodland Elementary, 59 S. State Route 157, Edwardsville, IL, 62025 on Tuesday, October 15, 2019.

Roll Call: Dalla Riva, Olsen, Pitts, McDole, Robberson, Bertels

Absent: Brumback

Others present were: Dr. Jason Henderson, Superintendent; Dave Courtney, Assistant Superintendent of Business Operations; Nancy Spina, Assistant Superintendent of Personnel; Bill Miener, Director of Technology; and Carey Francis, Secretary to the Superintendent.

President Jill Bertels moved and Terri Dalla Riva seconded the motion to hold a closed meeting to consider the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body, discuss real estate, contract negotiations, pending litigation and to review closed session minutes from the September 23, 2019 meeting.

Roll Call:

Ayes: Bertels, Dalla Riva, Olsen, Pitts, McDole, Robberson Carried 6-0 Absent: Brumback

At 6:27 p.m. the Board adjourned to closed session. 

The Board reconvened to open session.

John McDole moved and Terri Dalla Riva seconded the motion to approve the minutes from the September 23, 2019 meeting.

Roll Call:

Ayes: McDole, Dalla Riva, Olsen, Pitts, Robberson, Bertels Carried 6-0 Absent: Brumback

There being no further business, President Jill Bertels entertained a motion to adjourn. A motion was made by Lelan Olsen and seconded by Deb Pitts to adjourn the meeting.

Hearing no further discussion, the meeting was adjourned at 7:36 p.m.
