A Policy Committee Meeting was held on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. at Hadley House, 708 St. Louis Street, Edwardsville, IL 62025.

Terri Dalla Riva, Policy Committee Chair, called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

Discussion Items
Angie Powell, Director of Policy Services with the Illinois Association of School Boards, asked a series of questions to begin the customization process of the existing Board policy manual.
Ms. Powell recommended, upon completion of the customization, to transition to PRESS+, Policy Reference Education Subscription Service, in which IASB would maintain the Board policy manual. Dr. Henderson informed the committee this would be his recommendation as well.
Ms. Powell notified the committee members the first draft would be provided by the end of September for review. The first of three proofing meetings will need to be set within 60 days.
A motion was made by Terri Dalla Riva and seconded by Deb Pitts to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 11:29 a.m.
