There were two offenders convicted of sex crimes released on parole near Illinois zip code 62205 during the second half of 2019, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Metro East Sun.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in 62205 were men. The younger parolee was a 36-year-old man sentenced in 2019. The other was a 56-year-old man sentenced in 2009.

The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Murl A. Bridges. He was convicted of a sex crime in 2019 when he was 35 years old. He is now 36.
