There were two offenders convicted of sex crimes released on parole near Illinois zip code 62201 during 2019, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Metro East Sun.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in 62201 were men. The younger parolee was a 55-year-old man sentenced in 2018. The other was a 65-year-old man sentenced in 2007.

The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Gregory Doss. He was convicted of a sex crime in 2007 when he was 53 years old. He is now 65.
