2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 62226?

There were 19 offenders released on parole during 2019 that live near Illinois zip code 62226, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Metro East Sun.

The data shows that the 19 released offenders living in Belleville zip code were men. Of the parolees, one is a veteran, and the median age was 33. The youngest parolee was a 20-year-old man convicted in 2016, and the oldest was a 46-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2016.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Monte Conrad. He was convicted of a crime involving one or more weapons in 2011, when he was 23 years old. He is now 31.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
